Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-11
This policy explains what Cyber Range Compare collects, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: the site works without any personal data, and we only receive what you choose to send us.
Who is responsible for your data?
Alegria Media and Consulting Ltd. ("we") publishes Cyber Range Compare at cyberrangecompare.com and decides how the personal data described here is used. You can reach us only through the contact page.
What do we collect?
The site has no user accounts, no payments and no comments. You can use the training type finder and the platform fact grid without giving us any personal data: your finder answers and grid selections live only in the page address, and we do not record them. We collect only the following.
- Messages you send through the contact form: your name, email address, topic and message. For copyright notices, also the description of the work, the address of the material on this site, your two statements and your electronic signature.
- Technical data logged by our hosting provider: IP address, browser and device details, the pages requested and the time of each request. The host records this automatically to run and secure the site.
- Nothing stored in your browser: the site's code sets no cookies and writes nothing to local storage or session storage.
- Google Fonts: the site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address and browser details to Google when the fonts load.
We use no analytics and no other third-party scripts.
Why do we use it, and on what legal basis?
Under the EU GDPR and the UK GDPR we rely on our legitimate interests to run and secure the site, to answer your messages, and to handle corrections, privacy requests and copyright notices. Where the law requires your consent for something, we ask for it first, and you can withdraw it at any time.
Is data sent to other countries?
Our providers may process data outside your country. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. Israel, where we are based, has an adequacy decision from the European Commission.
How long do we keep it?
We keep contact messages as long as we need them to handle your request, then delete them. Server logs are kept for a limited period set by the hosting provider.
What are your rights?
In the EU and the UK: you can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to our use of it, withdraw consent, and complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
In California (CCPA and CPRA): you can ask to know what we hold, to delete it and to correct it, and to opt out of sale or sharing, which we do not do. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
In Israel: you have the rights given by the Privacy Protection Law, including access to and correction of your data.
To use any right, send a message through the contact page with the topic "Privacy request". We may ask you to confirm your identity.
Is the site for children?
No. Cyber Range Compare is written for security professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
Will this policy change?
If we change how the site handles data, we will update this page and its date. The date at the top shows the current version.
